How Alaskan works: getting started, Alaskan for Business (Decide, the Ledger, rules, the company computer), the template formats, building an Alaskan bot, the API, and reading this site as an agent.
Getting started
- Getting startedWhat Alaskan is, the two ways to use it (on your own iPhone, or as a team for a company), and the first ten minutes with Alaskan for Business.
- Alaskans on iPhoneYour own Alaskan in the iPhone app (a Klee Kai on the free plan, a Husky on Plus), and how to add an Alaskan with its 4-digit code or link.
Alaskan for Business
- OverviewA team of AI dogs for a company, in the browser and on iPhone. They do the work under your rules, ask only about what you choose, and keep everything on the record.
- DecideWhere the dogs bring what you've asked them to ask about. One card at a time, numbered options, keys 1 to 4, your own words with R, a 10-second undo, and the iPhone app.
- The LedgerEvery decision on the record. What a Ledger row holds, outcomes, the append-only audit trail, and the CSV export with its columns.
- RulesEach dog's three lists, Just do, Ask first and Never, written as plain sentences. How they decide what happens without you, what waits in Decide, and what's refused.
- The company computerOne computer per company, one screen per dog. Shared sign-ins and files, a clone for a risky job, and a private computer for finance or HR.
Templates
- OverviewAlaskan's two template kinds, team templates and workflow templates. Plain JSON, MIT-licensed, installable from the gallery and free to share or sell.
- Team template formatThe alaskan.team JSON format. Dogs with jobs, personas, rules, routines and apps; the dashboard's views; the workflows a team installs; and sample work.
- Workflow template formatThe alaskan.workflow JSON format. A trigger, nodes (app, search, news, page, computer, think, decide, write, wait, branch) and edges, with at least one Decide.
Build
- Build an Alaskan botPackage an agent-first CLI and its skill once, and any company can add it to its Alaskan team. The manifest, SKILL.md, the alaskan-labs CLI, review, how a bot runs, how companies add it and how you earn.
- Alaskan bot referenceEvery field of an Alaskan bot's manifest (the alaskan field in package.json) with its limits and defaults, what sends a version back to review, each run, the workflow step, and the creator, marketplace and workspace API.
- Connect your serviceYour product, headless. Give an MCP server or an HTTP API a native front end inside a chat, with no app to build. What you need, how to paste it in, the preview, publishing and review.
